Hayley Stevens appeared in a BBC discussion earlier today. I'll keep my comments to myself about the programme, but Hayley has presented hers. hayleyisaghost.co.uk/thebigq/

Nice to see BP Original Hayley on TV, I know she likes publicity and the fame that comes with it.
If it had been me on the show, here is what would have happened.
Question: "Can prayer cure illness?" Jon Donnis: "No" - I then walk off the show.
Anyway you can see the video of Hayley at

I do believe in the power of prayer. I was baptized Catholic but do not practice any religion. I don't go to church or believe in God as is taught in the bible, but I do believe in a higher power that oversees the universe and possibly created it. That said I have seen minor miracles happen thru prayer in numbers. Actually I've seen a major miracle when my dad had throat cancer, was given six months to live and survived to die from something else many years later.

Here is a question for everyone (not in reference to your dad Debbie, just a general question)
Person A has cancer in their stomach.
Person A prays to be cured Person A eats an apple Person A has reiki Person A has 1 thousand people pray for them Person A receives healing from a psychic Person A has 1 million people pray for them Person A only eats a raw vegan diet Person A has chemotherapy/Radiotherapy Person A joins a Mosque and prays 5 times a day Person A Rubs a balloon on their head 3 times a day
Person A finds out that the cancer has gone into remission and they will be ok. Out of all of the above, which is most likely to have had a tangible effect on the cancer going into remission?

All I can tell you is this, my fathers dr gave him six months and down the line called me to report that his cancer was gone and 'he didn't believe in miracles but this was a miracle'. Now what that miracle was I don't know, there were large prayer chains going for him. There are many cases of spontaneous remission from cancer with no medical explanation. I'm a science junkie, I read everything I can get my hands on even when it's over my head but that said I believe there may be 'forces at work' that we don't understand. Just look at the study of quantum physics for example. New things are being discovered all the time.

We wouldn't need a National Health Service if prayer worked.
