I am new to this site. When i came across it i just had to join! I apologise i do not have the names and times of which series or episodes i'm referring to. You would think these so-called "Ghost" hunters would have some sort of sense to at least try and hide the fact they are obviously fakes. Just off the top of my head i recall at least twice in different series and episodes their sloppy use of fishing wire. The episode with the wheel chair apparently moving on its own, you very clearly see the light catching the fishing wire right across the whole screen of your television!! Also, i recall an episode where the crew were standing at the bottom of stairs and the camera shot of the tops of their heads, you can just make out a line of fishing wire. I apologise again, i do not know exactly which series or episodes these were but i'm sure some if not most of you have came across these ghostly blunders. I mean, they cannot be in their right minds if they expect us to take them seriously!! These are'nt professionals, they are pure amatuers...........and make a lot of money doing so! P.S. I just want to add that i feel so sorry for poor Watson being dragged into all their shenanigans. He clearly looks so bored and would obviously much rather be home fast asleep.

Yes they have used fishing wire on a number of occasions. Although sometimes you have to be careful not to give them too much credit for the fakery. Sometimes its just a quick camera edit, or someone hiding off screen.
ps. Welcome to the forum

You are right, and even if there was no fishing wire involved, it's all still a load of rubbish. That episode when they caught a full apparition of a male 'ghost' walking through a door way at the bottom of a few steps, if that was actually genuine they didn't seem that surprised. Can you imagine having actual real and genuine photographic proof that ghosts do exist! I would imagine you'd want to make this public and have experts verify publically that the apparition was really a proven fact. But they just carried on about their business after a small excitable discussion.
Thank you for the welcome to your forum. I am really enjoying all the video's etc.

Well they did make it public, they PAID the media to publish a story about it a week before the show. Unfortunately I had written my review of that very episode a few weeks before. That got me into trouble with UKTV who put a blanket ban on me with regards to Most Haunted, so even as a journalist nn one from UKTV etc is allowed to talk to me in any official capacity.
Of course as usual their own footage exposed them as they are not smart enough to cover their own tracks

Darn! I really am way behind in all this am i! I dont supppose you have a link you could put up so i can go and see the story they paid the media to publish? This doesnt surprise me one bit, and can imagine it doesnt actually surprise anyone that they - and other "paranormal investigators" find it so easy to get their stories and apparent findings published, for a price!
Im sure you have gotten over your telling off from UKTV. Just shows how far they will go to cover their tracks! But, no matter how hard they try to cover things up, anyone with half a brain just has to watch their programme and see the "evidence" for themselves. I dont want to give them the satisfaction of us even discussing their silly antics, but i will probably check out the new series that starts soon........just for my own amusement if anything!!
