It's common practice amongst Tele evangelists and pastors of mega churches in the U.S. to do this sort of thing. Joyce Myers spent £37,000 on a new toilet and basin with gold plated taps and its not confined to America either, Colin Urquhart a well known British pastor and author has a huge church situated in an old industrial warehouse in an affluent town in southern England, he lives in a luxurious house while preaching that the earth is 6000 years old and mankind came about in a scenario involving a magical garden two naked people an enchanted tree an apple and a talking snake. Human gullibility never ceases to amaze me.
