BALTIMORE -- The Hubble Space Telescope will be watching when the University of Maryland's Deep Impact space probe crashes into a comet July 4, setting off a cosmic firework that may be visible on Earth.

The lights were only faint and it was lucky we saw anything really because the weather can be so shyte. I was only a small child at the time and seeing something like that was wonderful. I also remember Hale Bop a few years back.
July 4th! FFS. American's do like to believe that the whole universe centres around them don't they?
