I dont have an opinion either way on this as most of the taped responses do tend to be random words, but my screwed up brain seems to think that an episode of ghost hunters got responses that seemed to answer the questions asked. I wonder if that was tv fakery or pure coincidence or something else.Of course it could just be my screwed up brain.

I don't think anything ever seen on t.v. can be used as evidence and no-one that is trying to decide how they feel about something like EVP should ever make the decision based on what they see in the little square screen. EVP is one of the easiest phenonemon to fake it takes little knowledge of technology and just a small knowledge of editing.
As I have mentioned on here before we have captured some good EVP in the past, stuff that we know isn't faked and that at this time I can't explain..this is on our web-site. However, I am not happy that we had everything we needed in place to be able to prove to everyone 100% we didn't fake it. I know we didn't and the group know we didn't but I wouldn't expect anyne to believe it merely on our word. Learning from those mistakes however, and accepting the shortfalls in our evidence (with a little help from the critisism on here) we are now puting more and more in place to answer the questions asked when we deliver our evidence.
Is EVP spirit talking to us..I doubt it, but until we can find some logical explanation it is up to the beliefs of the individual to decide.

I think thats a fair point about tv and I certainly dont believe what I see on it. The problem for the investigators is that most peoples experiences of the paranormal come purely off the box in the corner. I look forward to seeing some of your results put on here when you have ironed out the problems you mentioned, would you be prepared to say of the responses you have had so far, when investigating, have been a correct response to the questions you asked when recording? Have they shown any intelligence or just been random sounds and words?

The problem for the investigators is that most peoples experiences of the paranormal come purely off the box in the corner. I agree and that works in two ways. Either people think it is like that and expect us to come up with stunning footage every five minutes or people think that's what we do and think we're a bunch of idiots As far as the EVP we have got so far is concerned I can certainly give you the examples we have. One was recorded on an investigation where there were only 3 girls in the room. One of the girls asked a question (of another not directed to spirit) but a man's voice is clearly heard on tape answering the question with a clear "yes". This voice wasn't heard by the girls at the time. On another occassion I asked Val the time and you can hear clearly a man's voice saying what sounds like "neuf" this of course is French for nine. It was nine o'clock at the time and there were no men in the room with us. Even more strangely there was another camcorder not 6 foot away that picked up my and Val's voices clearly but not this mans voice, even though on my tape it was far louder than ours. On these occassions it would appear that the words were in response to something we had said and not random. We have another occassion where we have picked up what seems to be a childs voice saying "hi". At the time there were obviously no children present. This could be considered random or that the girl was saying hello to us..depends on personal view that one. There are a few more that are on our web-site with descriptions, feel free to have a listen. The problem with these recordings are that to my mind we can't prove fully enough that it wasn't us. Yes we can prove the tapes were new because we film eachother opening and changing tapes and then film on them for a couple of minutes to show the time so they can't be swapped. Plus of course they could be checked if people wanted. But, I don't feel that the people in the room are covered enough on camera. On every investigation we now cover all of us from all angles while in a room and we make sure that people don't wander out of the view of at least one camcorder. We also make sure we film around the room when we enter to show there is no-one hiding in any corners and then keep a camcorder on the door to show no-one enters. Yes it takes time to set up and yes we use a lot of tapes but at the end of the day I think we are wasting our time and money doing this if our evidence is flawed in any way. And, if anyone brings up any other flaws in our evidence we will find a way of putting it right. Gawd that was a lengthy reply..did I actually answer any of your questions or was it just a ramble
