Could they have ingested something which would kill them, but leave no trace?
Could a gastric bleed be caused by inhaling something toxic?

I dont know of anything they could have ingested that would cause gastric bleeding, except maybe acid or glass. I dont think there is any gas which causes intestinal bleeding either. It did mention however one drank pretty bad, that might explain one death. Intestinal ulcers have to be lasered shut or you could bleed to death, but if thats true it doesnt explain the other persons death.

It was their own blood in their stomachs I assume. Im sure forensic pathology would have raised a few alarms if it wasnt.

Intestinal ulcers have to be lasered shut or you could bleed to death, but if thats true it doesnt explain the other persons death. I suppose it could be coincidence. They both died from the same complaint. The only reason we find it strange is that we don't get to hear about it very often therefore when we do we find it hard to believe it can be coincidence. I don't think we'd have thought anything of it if it was two people dying of the same complaint next to each other in a hospital ward.

surely the odds of two people drinking themselves to death in the same room and at the same time is staggering though? I mean not so staggering if what they drank was poison, but apparantly they can find no cause for their death apart from the intestinal bleed.

Yes, the odds are staggering. But what is it, if it isn't a coincidence?

Ive no idea, I mean it could be a coincidence, coincidences can happen even with the most improbable odds. Something just strikes me as wrong about this story though.

That sounds a lot like a conspiracy theorist, Bobdezon.

I dont have a theory for it, its just very very unusual. There must be a cause, but I can find non.

Any new info on this? Guess it'll be a while if any results are published, still, if at all they are. Be interesting to know.

I think they were watching, most haunted live, and started bleeding from their eyes.
