This kind of thing makes me feel sick..
Morris asks the healed people to come forward. There is a stampede. As I watch the audience members explaining how their illnesses have disappeared – “Give Jesus a big hand for the work he’s done!” Morris cries – I think of the previous victims of this charade. The women on stage now, declaring their cancer is gone, could go the way of the 25 year-old epileptic from Southwark who was told she was cured of epilepsy by Morris. She stopped taking her pills – and drowned in the bath during a fit six days later.
Surely this should make him culpable for the death of this person in some way.

FFS, how many more people are going to die because of idiots like this before something is done about it?? There needs to be a law against it (incitement to compromise health or something) because these evil bastards are not going to stop out of conscience. They are getting far too rich to care.

If these guys are so good why dont they join the NHS and offer their services to the masses, I have had M.E and Fibromyalgia for six and a half years maybe they could clear it up for me and then I could go to work instead of spending my life on websites like this one.

I dont hold much with these faith healers, as has been said if they are so good then why arent they on the NHS ?? and why do we still have so many incurable diseases in this world, to me faith healers are very dangerous people and preying on peoples minds.

The power of the mind is a great healer..if you tell someone they will never walk again they probably won't..but if you tell them they can then they are more likley too. Of course, this only works to an extent..the psychological state of a person can in some cases determine how they cope with and deal with an illness.
HOWEVER some illnesses can not be treated and certainly not completely healed by this sort of thing. Ok, maybe healing can help eleviate symptoms (sitting on the fence on that one), but no way could this sort of thing cure people. And, as has been said..the consequence of people doing this sort of thing can be horrendous. But, as with a lot of things, if people are desperate enough they will try anything and believe anything to make themselves feel better. This is how idiots like this man are always garaunteed an audience..and wads of cash ! I am epileptic and someone I worked with (who was also a lay-preacher) told me that if I should replace my tablets with prayer..of course I just walked away (muttering a word that rhymed with bat)..what was really worrying was he was working in mental health..he had access to very vulnerable people, many with delusions and who, on times believed the tablets were poisoning them..of course if they didn't take them these delusions got worse and so on. I actually reported what he had said to me for fear he would say it to one of them..

Damn good point !! I also suffer from Fibromyalgia and have done for a few years now, and it would be nice to get back to work !!

There clearly needs to be an investigation into this crap, surely these people need to be made to take responsibility for their actions. It sickens me that desperate people can be duped like this
