This is the sort of thing that greatly concerns me. I have picked this site out of one of many. Some charge for even entering the sites, others don't mention a charge until you have asked for help ! People go for these things out of desperation, and, in a way who can blame them. But, often they are encouraged to stop taken medications and put their trust in God..something that could have fatal results. www.lifesongljl.org/start.html

The problem is that the powers that be cannot really prove this does not work. If this person has testomony from people that she has healed them, and people are going to her of their own accord then I shouldn't think there is much they can do.
I once worked with a lay-peacher..very worryingly he worked in mental health. While he was working he was not allowed to mention the healing side of things but he was in to it big time. When he left the job he stayed in touch with some of the clients and I know for a fact he spoke to some of them and suggested they come off their medication and put their faith in God. We are talking about people with all sorts of mental health problems here, including very bad cases of paranoid schizophrenia. Luckily some came to us to ask what we thought..some, who were more ill at the time went along with it..needless to say we had one heck of a mess to clear up after it all.
I suffer from epilepsy (actually suffer is the wrong word), I have been lucky in that my medication has prevented any seiures for 13 years now and should coninue to do so. This same person told me to come off my epilepsy medication. And, if I had, and if I'd had a seizure (which would have stopped me driving for at least two years, and lost me my job) there wouldn't have been a damn thing I could have done about it !!
Sites like this give false hope, some desperate people will give it a go thoug. And yes, at first there may be positive results..after all, the placebo effect can be a wonderful thing..but, in the long term the illnesses will still be there..

Well, as I said in my post above yours Mook, I had this suggested to me by a lay-preacher..I ignored it (but I thought he was a bit of a prat anyway tbh). However, the long and short of it is..if I had listened to him it would have been my choice and there would not have been a damn thing I could have done about it. We had people thinking they were God, we had people going out and doing job interviews lying about their qualifications etc all because they were told to stop taking their anti-psychotic medication. They stopped taking their meds and believed they could do anything, we even had some getting convinced we were trying to "get" them..which made helping them very hard. But, we could not do a thing about it !
