Did you know that Cyprus was the worlds first Christian country, after its ruler was converted to Christianity in 45AD by Apostles Paul and Barnabas accompanied by St Mark.

Jesus wasnt 45, he was dead! it was 45 years after he died.
The Cypriot Orthodox Church was the first Christian Church. So we are kinda to blame for everything that follows

well AD is generally taken as the year he was born, but I think I read somewhere that Jesus was born in 4BC. Anyway, if Cyprus was converted it was 45 years after the generally accepted date of Jesus' birth in this case

But the followers of Christ and teh first Christians, would only have been so after Jesus had started getting famous etc, when he was 33, and surely only 100% converted when he ressurected?

But the followers of Christ and teh first Christians, would only have been so after Jesus had started getting famous etc, when he was 33, and surely only 100% converted when he ressurected? probably right, 45AD is probably around a good time for everyone to go nuts over him, 4 years after Diana + Dodi died everyone was still very emotional about that. total change of subject here, I know diana was a nice woman, but she had problems too, isnt it strange how people forget ALL of the negatives in a person when they die? they suddenly become angelic. almost back on track... an example - Jesus and Mary Magdelaine, when i was a kid i assumed that they were a couple, knew they werent married, but thought that they probably would have got married in the future, BUT because she was a prostitute bible bashers say that they were never together, and even that she had become his servent to repay him for helping her. WHAT? load of rubbish, firstly if Jesus was totally angelic he never would have got famous, secondly - he's a man and i've heard that men like sex, what type of guy wouldnt sleep with a woman that follows him about all the time worshipping him? Thirdly, whats so wrong with him being with a woman who's been a prostitute? If there's a God then he created sex, blame him, not a woman that was clever enough to use it to feed herself. hmmm, insomniatic babble, havent done that in a while - good luck decoding that ;D

In fact not all scholars agree that she was a prostitute. I is stated that she had demons, common way at the time of saying someone was ill. There are many " versions" of every story in the Bible.

So we are kinda to blame for everything that follows The way I heard it was that Jesus began his teaching when he was 30 years old, and preached for three years up until his crucifiction. BC was (obviously) before christ and AD began at his birth. Having said all that, there is no independent proof that he even existed! ;D
