I had to switch off half way through; people like that make me start to think bad thoughts and I do try to be a peaceful soul.
To be honest though, she is only an extreme example of most religions. I mean I find the Christian idea that child murder, say is no worse a sin, in God's eyes, than shoplifting, as long as both sinners repent properly, repugnant. Now I think about it, I find most Christian ideas repugnant.

OMG!!! She is mental and should be locked up. I truly hope she is mentally ill - the only other alternative is that she is evil, and that is scary.

Jeez, I never thought I'd be so wholeheartedly backing the Fox News presenters.
She had that fixed smile so often seen on religious nutters.

I've not watched it. Some of you here may remember that my ex has become a 'born again christian'. I feel he's extreme. His favourite saying?
All that happens today doesn't matter for tomorrow there will be a new sunrise....
It got to the point that my children - especially my daughter - started to say the same thing. They have limited contact with him - mainly his choice - and they are starting to see that what happens today does matter, you need to learn from it.
I do believe my ex had a breakdown. I don't see how once reasonable people can see this as being 'normal'.
Sorry for the ramble.

My friend's husband experienced something we could only think of describing as a religious delusion after having some kind of breakdown at work. His personality changed from that time on, but he never had any professional advice because he didn't think his "new" thinking was unusual. With a lot of fairly extreme mental health problems it does sometimes seem to lead ( not always but noticeably) to either religious or alien delusions. Just my personal thinking on this, but I would imagine as with a lot of things, there would be varying degrees of delusion, some enough to lead a so called normal life, whatever that is As long as you can take care of yourself within a community then it's considered coping.

I had to put a full link in because it's in four parts. This is Shirley Phelps thingy on the Tyra Banks show this month, it is in four parts and includes two of her daughters, who, in my opinion, are quite obviously brainwashed! It's interesting

How can she sit there and listen to that womans CRAP, after about 5 minutes they would be prising my fingers away from her throat.

Its gone on for almost 5 years. I'm certain he was happy to see me and the children leave so that he can now 'find a christian family to make a home with'. Seeing that e-mail was quite a shock! Who am I to say what normal is? He's happy with his chosen life, and the children and I are getting there...
