Okay guys, I'm about half way through the God Delusion, and wanted to know if anybody can suggest some more books like this. Books that are well thought out or just some good sceptical books (not even necessarily about Religion) I find it hard to find books i like. I like factual books, but it needs to interest me too. Read Derren's tricks of the mind. Ian Rowlands full facts was good too, and now im onto the god delusion, but what can i read after that, that will fill my hunger for reading, but also keep me interested? Help me out here!!

God is not Great - Christopher Hitchens The End of Faith - Sam Harris Letter to a Christian Nation - Sam Harris Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon - Daniel Dennett (bit hard going this one, but it's good!)
There's also
The Atheists Are Revolting - Nick Gisburne
I haven't got this last one yet, but I've been watching Nick's videos on YouTube for a few months, and I've read the sample chapter from his book. He's amusing and very direct.

God is not Great - Christopher Hitchens The End of Faith - Sam Harris Letter to a Christian Nation - Sam Harris I've read both of Sam Harris' books and am also half way through Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion but I have started Christopher Hitchins book and am thoroughly enjoying it, it's less scientific of course than Dawkins which helps me!! But all of them are great books and have definitely annoyed the religious communities lol

Hitchens isn't scientific, but he's been out there and has the actual first hand experience of many of the religious problems of the world. It's a very enjoyable read!

Slightly off-topic, but there's an interesting discussion between Hawkins and another science dude in the back of the latest issue of Scientific American, called 'Should Science Speak to Faith?' Only skimmed it so far, but I like their approach in talking to people with faith, although they differ in their opinions slightly.

The next book on my reading list is "Are Souls Real?" by Jerome W. Edelbert (Prometheus). It sounds fascinating, and the title is rather amusing if you say it quickly enough...

UK-skeptics have a great deal with the only UK distributor of prometheus books. Also, if you order through them, a small percentage goes to the non-profit making charity to help educate and promote science and skepticism.
It's a win-win situation

If you're interested in (digestible) scientific explanations of how religious beliefs developed (i.e. from an evolutionary perspective), then I highly recommend Pascal Boyer's "Religion Explained" and Daniel Dennett's "Darwin's Dangerous Idea".
