I'd rather we all died in a huge battle with the armies of Satan on judgement day to be honest.

There is no way that is true.
A.)This would require every internet company to agree to change the same way, if even one doesn't it will have an advantage over every other company in the world.
B.)There are just way too many sites, including new ones being made every day, to make some standard channel system.
C.)This will cost companies more than it would make for them.
D.)This does not take account for upload and download speeds.
E.)What about games and other shared networks that don't specifically use web pages but connect over the internet. This conspiracy does not address such things.
In other words this is just a big companies are evil organizations that want to rule over you thing.

It just takes one company to break away and their business model becomes the one in demand. I agree, it is a pile of conspiracy nonsense. I've no doubt the ISPs are doing what they can to reduce costs, but a conspiracy that does not make.

A good reason of why you shouldnt smoke dope and film yourself for you tube.. Great statments from their inside knowlage... An isp is changing it now ( who? ) It MAY happen in 4 years, but that could change ( Medium woo? ) If you dont do anything to stop it the internet will change as you know it.. ( ok what did or do you want me to do then?? ) All the big companies are doing it ( who again?? ) as we arnt covered by the NDA agreement we can tell you this ( tell me what ?? ) so ask them...... Ok will ring Richard Branson in the morning then? shall i ? The only perk of watching this was a low cut top ...

yea it is a bit strange, one thing he mentions is to contact politicians to encourage them to make it illegal...... they don't seem to realise...... it already is! controversy was sparked because the large companies wanted internet usage monitored and capped, partly because of illegal file sharing, but since your net activity is already monitored then they basically just said they want to be able to act upon it beyond their current fair usage policy. of course since this goes against freedom of information acts, and they consider it an invasion of privacy when they act upon the information in this way, they couldn't do it. as said if they did then people would look far and wide for one that didn't so they would need a way to stop that. and if I think rightly it was stopped in its tracks back when it was first rumoured, far too many people complained about the idea already, old news.
