Thanks Jon, I was in the audience for the second episode and am involved with one of the challenges so a review is on its way of my experiences and feelings of the show as a unlikely participant and audience member. Well done to Richard Saunders for his involvement and well done to the makers of the programme for getting the very well respected sceptic Richard Saunders on board.

Let me just say there is one medium on the show who makes me seem butcher than Hulk Hogan I felt so threatened. Bad enough having to compete with Brian Dowling. Seriously though review on its way.

Dont mention his name, seriously William! I absolutely hate that idiot!!
I reckon i might be replacing Dowling with Ex- BB housemate Dennis as the most shameful thing to ever come out of homoeseuality.
And can i point out, as us Greeks invented homosexuality, you never saw Achilles, King Leonides or Alexander mincing about, and they were gayer than anyone!!

I am awaiting to get a copy of tonight's show but have had various reports. My bit was shown and apparently I was quite critical and someone said I shot her down. Then another said I was very diplomatic and they used my less scathing comments so I await to see the copy for me to draw my conclusion.
What I have done is go on a number of forums and sites discussing the programme and from what I gather the believers are pretty much raving about it but many of the critics, sceptics and many of those who are indifferent or unsure say that the programme has been edited in such a way to make the psychics look favourable and impressive. When I was in the audience they were far from that.
I have spoken to a couple of members of Australian Skeptics the group that Richard Saunders belongs to as well as friends who saw it. They tell me that Richard has been made to look very tame in the editing and that he mainly just nods. He is a very tame and chilled guy at the best of times so editing him to look even tamer does not bode too well. Either way from what I gather the editing has been in favour of the psychics. What it does do is make the programme more sensational as to find Australia's best psychic you have to show that they are at least genuine or appear to be.
Sadly from what I have read and have been told by viewers is that a programme that could have been used to test the abilities of psychics and demonstrate the arguments of sceptics and believers has become very much a show case for those taking part. But hey that's entertainment. Both judges for instance get very little time to give their findings where as those taking part get pretty much free range to do what they like and are then made to look pretty good in the final cut. This is what those who have viewed it are telling me. When I get a copy I will do a full review.

Thanks so much for that and very much appreciated. I know they like to edit but unbelievable. They left out the best bits and kept in the dull bits. She told me for instance and I loved to drink a lot of alcohol and loved fast cars. I have never drunk alcohol in my life and do not drive. Glad they kept the sceptical comment in. She did look at me but she also looked at some others and having guessed she had a comb in my hand I know doubt gave her knowing looks. Looking forward to review once I see fill episode. Thanks again and very much appreciated. You're a star William

You are very welcome William. Too bad that they cut out about 85% (is my guess), it's a show and the main goal of this and all the other shows is mainly to pull in the Woo people.
The winner of this show will be The One that comes closest to what could be a Psychic.

Yes very true. If the psychics come across badly if defeats the point of the show. The premise is that some psychics are genuine and it needs to find Australia's best psychic or medium. It is quite a premise when you consider that premise is unproven. As for Richard's role they wanted to cast him in the Simon Cowell role as someone to put a spanner in the works and be Mr Bad Guy. It is a recipe that works for many shows but for this one that is one hell of a premise.
