Hi all, I was wondering if you help me with a question about paypal, I wish to buy some things for my website youvidit.com, in order to pay the owner of a website im buying stuff from accepts paypal.
what i'd like to do is put the items on my credit card so i can pay it off bit by bit over the coming months and my question is
how do i make paypal do that instead of taking it from my primary bank account. ?
I added my credit card to my account a few weeks back but i think it might take it from my bank account instead.
any ideas ?
thanks

I don't have a bank account tied to my paypal account, so everything comes straight off my debit card. Doesn't it ask you which payment method you wish to use at time of purchase?

Guthix, when you go to pay it tells you where it is taking it from. Just underneath that, I think in blue, it says something like 'more funding options'. Click on that and it will tell you all accounts, credit or otherwise that you have added on there. Then highlight the little spot next to your credit card and it will take it from there.
Hope that helps.

You need to add your credit car, and then find the option somewhere on the site to change your account type to be a premium account (shouldn't cost you anything, don't worry!). If you don't do this, I think it will keep doing it as echeques, which are a total pain, and effectively just a bank transfer from your bank to paypal, and then paypal to the seller.

actually I think it should be just as easy as going to the accounts page with your card on and clicking on the default link, you may need to verify your card first tho?
