I don't think you know anything about the 1980s Meercat. Nuff said. Ha what's to know, it was sh*t Shakin' Stevens. Puffball skirts. Def Leppard. Pedal pushers with plimsolls. Oh heck, I could go on all night.

I'll see your Duran Duran and raise you a Black Sabbath. (Ozzy version. Discount Ian Gillan.)

I loved the 80's, as that's when I did most of my growing up, nothing like seeing the uncensored, un-edited version of the 'Girls on Film' vid from Duran Duran.

Pink Floyd. More need not be said. I was rather fond of "Wish you were here". Even used it in my music lessons - fairly well-received.

I'm injecting myself with a diluted solution of Jethro Tull.... Was listening to them today "Really don't mind if you sit this one out, your words just a whisper, your deafness a shout, I may make you feel but I can't make you think, your sperms in the gutter, your loves in the sink" Dammit, Shakin' Stevens couldn't come up with lyrics like that....

Oh, come on! 'Lipstick powder and paint, is you is or is you aint?' is like Shakespeare! I'll concede Adam and the Ants from the 80s. I liked them.

I hated the 80s, no decent fashion, music, nothing. Except maybe a few choice cartoons, but thats about it.

Was listening to them today "Really don't mind if you sit this one out, your words just a whisper, your deafness a shout, I may make you feel but I can't make you think, your sperms in the gutter, your loves in the sink" So you ride yourselves over the fields and you make all your animal deals and your wise men don't know how it feels ... to be thick as a brick
