It's the old false cause and effect syndrome. You use a so-called system to get something and if you do then you praise the system for working rather than accept that it may have been coincidence or just something that was going to happen anyway.

Couldnt agree more O.M.S , if you asked for something and it happened you'd put it down to the system , but what if it would have happened anyway because of life choices and decisions you had made to improve the situation ? Of course things you ask for cant just happen by some magical cosmic means...you have to work at them , change things in your life , go all out to make things happen and change for the better , there simply is NO WAY of asking for something like this and getting it by magic . For instance i could ask to loose a stone in weight , but if i merely asked for it and didnt do excersise or eat healthily or get medical advice for any condition that may be causing weight gain it simply would not happen . Of course if i got ill for a short while and as a result lost the weight without doing any of the above id attribute it to asking for it as if nothing else had effected my weight other than this magical request simply because i had a belief system in the cosmic ordering and would ignore the real reasons for it happening . Whats the old adage ? Be carefull what you wish for ? I say dont wish for it take steps to make it happen .

I just posted similar in the woo section thread, but I don't think he believes a word of it. He's been a pretty successful businessman at times, and I'd say he just seen an opportunity to exploit. If I didn't have morals, and fancied making a living from the gullible , I'd have a very successful woo business, as would many other skeptics I expect.
