Hey all, it seems last night's ghost hunters live event had some staging of fake events. i've been reading over at forums.scifi.com/index.php?showforum=70 and it seems viewers spotted some fishing wire coming from grant's coat and seconds later there was a coat tugging incident. also something about a voice that sounded too clear to be an EVP or something, i'm still downloading this so i'm gonna see for myself |

I sent some youtuber the forum link to badpsychics as his clip was better explained then mine, when i see the better explained the show ghost hunters now reeks of fakeness to me. to think i used to think this was a true paranormal investigative show but now i cannot stand it :/ |

I like ghost hunters for the entertainment but I definitely wasn't surprised with this. I've seen many threads talking about how Grant seems to fake lots of stuff over many seasons.

I'm quite surprised that BadPsychics haven't been all over this like a rash. This is the kind of cheap fakery that even Most Haunted would be too embarrassed to try and pull off.

New series of ghost hunters starts tonight .I will be looking for clues,to see if there is any fakery going on.I do not think that I will be able to spot anything, as they are very good at covering themselves .Ah but it is entertaining, at least I think so and we do not have to put up with all that screaming like they do on M H.  |

I quite liked TAPS but watched an episode the other night (couldn't sleep) and was really disappointed to see how they now run the show. To think they had a right go at Yvette - they must have been picking up hints.

Watched G H the other night ,not much going on a bit of a let down really. I mean you sit all agog waiting for something to happen,and nothing does [ boreing.] is what I call it. I mean I was expecting to be scared just a little, nothing, a big fat zero. I do like TAPS I just hope it is not going the way of all the other . Out for ratings and mega bucks.  |

Hi, i'm new to this forum, i must say i have always enjoyed watching taps, i like how they do a lot of evp work i find it really interesting. i used to watch most haunted but don't bother anymore as it is mainly a set up, plus all they all get on my nerves.

TAPS has changed over the seasons. I stopped watching it after the first season, but being on the TAPS forum I get to read what has been happening. They've gotten more sensational over the years because <pauses dramatically> ghost hunting is boring. Boring! Would anyone watch what really happens on an investigation? We walk around saying "flash" before each photo, ask a lot of silly questions hoping for an EVP, and jump at every little noise. Oh, we also smoke a lot of cigarettes during breaks and gossip. Gotta keep those ratings up, so what's a fake collar tug or forced EVP among friends?  |

i think the answer to ure questions is in the titles of all paranormal shows at the begining this program is for entertainment purposes only ;D
