Is there anyone out there in the Norwich area? Gary Mannion will be giving an "Indigo Child Workshop & Psychic Surgery Demonstration" there on 6th December. It would be interesting to know exactly what the lad has to say re. Indigo Childen (kids diagnosed with ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia etc)!

Bloody hell! £50's a bit steep, even with a "shared lunch"...and it's interesting to read on that woo site:
That sounds suspiciously like the medical advice Gary now says he DOESN'T give!

Where are these "events" located, maybe complain to the actual buildings etc too Gary's site currently just says "Norwich" as the venue. The advert in the Norfolk Spirit Guide Newsletter just gives a postcode address . Odd - somebody might think Gary was being a bit evasive. ;D

All these demonstrations, and he charges each time.
If I had such a gift, I'd be out healing people, not taking money from people watching his tired old act.

Do you not think he might be making up these events to make himself look good ? If he really wanted people to come and see him then surely he would provide the full address and times of the events.

Another bunch of dangerous idiots. They don't claim to heal cancer, but they've got some other nasties in there. So heavily researched they need to rely on anecdotal evidence. Guess that means the research is a bit inconclusive then. I really despair sometimes at the lengths these people will go to in order to deceive the public and most likely themselves. www.celestineawakenings.co.uk/5.html

Norfolk Trading Standards have been informed. And this post from moderator "Rainbows" appeared on the Spiritlove forum yesterday:
"Gary, are you saying Ritalin should not be given to indigo-children more so than non-indigo children? Do you not think parents should take advice from doctors rather than yourself. You are not a specialist in the subject, you shouldn't be lecturing parents on this.I realise you was placed on Ritalin, i know there's bad press about it but its not your job to advise parents. You may well say its your opinion but people are paying you, people are looking up to you, people are believing you. This goes beyond telling people of your personal story, you are telling them how it is and what to do. You have made plenty of mistakes in what you have told people before -you are not to be trusted."
I think even a few woo-inclined people are coming to the conclusion that Gary is an embarrassment to the cause and capable of doing real harm.

It has taken them long enough, but many Woo types are seeing through his claims. Maybe in part cause they realise they have been backing the wrong horse in a race he cant win

Thirty places at £50 each: £1500. One and a half grand for spreading potentially dangerous misinformation! I wonder how much of that is Gary's "take"? And let's not forget the "donations" he'll receive on the following day...sickening.
By the way, I see that Gary's next two-day course at Nash Manor in January will include "Levitation" (will someone please buy him an introduction to basic physics?) and "Table Tipping". I wonder if the spirits, in addition to tipping tables, are still able to tap out various well-known TV theme tunes? ;D Anyway, there are all sorts of fascinating things on offer if you have £100 to spare...
