Oh! I was expecting a debate on whether Randi's talks are effective! ;D
For the record, I very much doubt it. They'll only be watched by skeptics in the main. I'm sure they could still be educational but they'll be educating skeptics rather than anyone else.

There's a geekfest in Atlanta, GA, every year called DragonCon. Here's more info on what it is www.dragoncon.orgThis year James Randi is going to be a guest. I cannot wait!! I'm usually shopping or napping during most of the panels, but there's been a growth of skeptic panels and this one I will not miss. I had given up on the paranormal part of the con because they were the usual idiots babbling on and on about the paranormal, but now the fun begins. Oh, yes, I will be there to hear him speak. I cannot wait to hear him dismiss Patrick Burns, Chris Moon, or any of the new "celebrities" of the ghost elite. |
