By MMCI came across Brisbane based "Teacher, Healer and Clairvoyant Psychic reader" Lisa Sherrah on the Internet. Her website does not differ hugely from so may other 'psychic' sites. What worried me more than others is the claim: Click Here To Read More

Surely Jon, there must be a Law somewhere against making such claims?
A soap manufacturer, for example, cannot even make wild claims about the ''anti-wrinkling'' properties of their product (fairly inane stuff really) but these ''people'' get away with this deplorable stuff!! MAKES NO SENSE - is there not a ''Trading Standards'' equivalent in this field?

That's actually very scary. Her claims leave me feeling slightly sick to my stomach.
I feel for someone who suffers from any of these diseases who would feel at such a low ebb to want to believe that this "person" can help them. I wonder how Mz. Sherrah sleeps at night? I bet it takes a few gallons or Horlicks and no conscience!

So she can cure fibromyalgia, yeah right. I have had it and M.E since 1999 and there is no cure. These conditions are probably casued by either a virus or a major body trauma. In my case it was probably a blood clot on my lung that nearly killed me. The specialists in this field have yet to find the trigger for the illness and so can not cure it as a result. Oh and to suggest emotional blockages are the cause is utter codswallop. For the record ,because the NHS dont know how to cure it they get you a psychiatric examination in case you are a fruit loop. And although I am a fruit loop I was declared sane and well balanced emotionally as most with these illnesses are. This woman is preying on those of us who suffer constant and chronic pain and are left begging for the pain to stop. She should be locked up.,I hope that she never experiences the level of pain that I have to put up with every day because then she will know how much her lies will dissapoint the afflicted. RANT OVER!!!!!

For once, I actually agree with you Jon. I find her comments extremely distasteful and totally misleading. Anyone diagnosed with cancer or who has a family member suffering with the disease is going to be looking for anything they can to help fight it and get rid of it. Some people would probably contact this woman thinking "well, it cant hurt". But it can, as it will give them false hope when she offloads her spiel about how she can cure the disease, when if that were the truth, she would be renowned the world over. Until you posted this, I'd never seen her before.
Not quite sure why you've put that in the MH section though ;D

Unfortunately I appear to have found another one making the same claim. This 'Practitioner' claims Reiki and Seichim helps with:
I have emailed him to find out what "results" he has achieved. I shall post an article when/if I get a reply.

I shall post an article when/if I get a reply. All this goes on around us more than we think.. Every medium will claim they can send healing via angels or spirit, saying depression, aches and pains or whatever down to blocked energy channels, Reiki healing, its all the same. People charge lots of money, up to £35 per session (Ive checked out my area) You go home with empty pocket.. and they go off and write a book.

To say that "Health is a state of mind" is bull. Sure, if you have a positive attitude, it may help a common cold. BUT CURE CANCER? Who the 7uck does she think she is? What a Total <ock$uck3r
