A very interesting petition has been submitted in the effort to pardon Helen Duncan's conviction of fraudulent mediumship.
[/b]
There are 68 signatures on this already. Helen Duncan was a proven fraud of physical mediumship, I note that from the list of names there are a few practicing platform mediums that have also signed.
Just how seriously this petition will be taken remains to be seen, but even under the present Fraudulent Mediums Act Helen would still be found guitly of fraud based on the evidence presented at the time of her arrest.
Are these people up to date with the Fraudulent Mediums Act? It is petitions like this that just waste government time, when their time and resources could be better spent in other areas.

Also worth noting that i submitted a petition for a review of the law andteh FMA etc, i have heard nothing back, and doesnt seem like it has been accepted

Whether she was a fraud or not, it did seem very extreme to put the woman in jail.
Rumour has it that she was in fact the real deal but the goverment wanted her to shut up in case she leaked plans about the second world war.

Lol, and if you believe that nonsense you will believe anything.
She was a faud, and was DESERVEDLY put in jail. I wish they would put the frauds of today in jail. I would be very happy to see the likes of Acorah, Fry, Stockwell, Higgs and so on, rotting away in jail.
