On November 11, 2009, former Ghost Hunters team member Donna LaCroix appeared as a guest on the internet paranormal radio show Ghost Divas where she claimed that some evidence on both Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International was faked and that the producers had a staging crew. She said she could not specify which evidence was faked at the risk of legal repercussions, but also added that the producers of the show had requested her to "act" in certain scenes. Ah well they all appear to be at it, telling all that is. Why would T A P S be any different. I think we already had a tinsey winsey inkling that it was a bit faked , well a lot really.

They asked her to act in certain scenes and she did it. IMO she's as bad as they are.

agreed hayley, yet another person who only speaks out after they get fired. the sad thing is that i supported TAPS when they started the show, they seemed genuine and serious, but they ended up no better than MH

I read this on Wikipedia last week when I was posting about TAPS being like MH on another forum. This will come as no surprise to most members of BP. TAPS answers to the network and the network demands audience figures - no audience = no TAPS. As a former believer turned sceptic I spent many a wasted night on investimagations where nothing happened apart from in minds of the more gullible investimagators. If ghosts do exist they certainly don't perforn on cue for TAPS, Karl and Yvette or anyone else.

I was immediately suspicious of TAPS, the reason being is that they were using gadgets to detect unusual stuff. If I'm not mistaken, the two founders were/are plumbers or electricians & as everyone knows plumbers & electricians use meters to detect wires & pipes behind walls, were these gadgets just pumped up detection meters? The majority of the 'unexplainable' things happened indoors where plumbing & electricity existed. I kinda like some of the effects they captured as 'evidence' though but I think that was due to more money to play about with.
I've always wanted to investigate supposedly haunted buildings. It would consist of just me with cameras set about the building, half the night with lights on & half without lights, I'd also do it in the daylight hours afterall, people have reported seeing ghosts at all times of day. Would it be boring? You betcha, would I get a contract with a tv station? Nope. Almost nobody wants to watch a programme where nothing happens

Pah, what revelations, at the end of the day TAPS is TV entertainment. It may well be that Donna didn't fully understand the concept of how tv programs like this work when she first started. She can be blamed, asked to fake something.............argue, get sacked, no money. Not like she could say no, not if she was really desperate for the wage packet.
It's good she got to air her side to things, hopefully, people will now see what an arse Jason & Grant are and that it's arubbish show

There must be some money to be made, when you see the likes of Karl spending money as if it is going out of style
