asif, would you mind answering my question, please?
P.S. Can't your guide tell you what kind of jewellery it is?
'All through this short life we give of ourselves, giving and giving and slowly diminishing. Leaving a mark that will gradually fade, ash in the breeze, snowballs in negative.'

I've asked my guide and he says a necklace, and it does look to me like either a bracelet or a necklace, the chain itself looks to me like a link-chain, quite small hoopy links.
No I didn't accuse anyone of anything ( as if I can accuse somebody of a mental illness, what a bizarre concept), I simply inquired if a neurological condition could be responsible..care to detract your statement and apologise LR?
And if asif86 is a medium, then asif86 please ask your spirits what I have in my pockets and I will be convinced..surely a simple exercise for them?
I await your response.
Interestingly enough, I decided to ask my spirit friends your question, and this is purely what I was given, the word "Jewellery" and I'm shown gold, so now I'll leave it to you. That's all I get, if I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, but I stand by what I believe in.
Sorry thats not correct.
Thank you for trying though.
Atheism is a religion like not collecting stamps is a hobby.
asif, could you answer my question, please? Why did the spirits decide to come to you as a child, and not to me, or other people who have not been visited by them? (Sorry, everyone, if my repetition is getting on your nerves).
Also, if you're wrong, why do you stand by your beliefs? Why would your guide give you false information? Please could you ansewr the first question, though? I've asked it about 4 times now.

You have the right to ask the question but equally asif has the right not to reply. I hope he does ,but if he does not want to reply or be interrogated that is his right.

Sorry to take so long in answering this question. They don't just come to me, I'm not the only medium in this world. To my knowledge, they come to me because they know I'll pay attention to them and relay their messages to those who they wish me to speak to...etc. Everyone has their own specific pathway in life. Mine is a spiritual one...etc and there will be those who don't have a pathway of seeing spirits and being a medium - we all have individual lessons for our own soul's growth of understanding.
Shame I got that wrong Bone, oh well. I won't make excuses or change it, I'm not Derek Acorah.
an i just say, even tho im a skeptic, asif86 has at least stuck with this thread and answered the questions that have been put to him. We often get threads started like this by mediums, who after being given the third degree by us lot, soon jump ship rather than stick around and try to have a sensible discussion . so asif86, i may not believe you can talk to the dead, but i appreciate the fact you have stuck it out so far, and stood your ground. theres been plenty that havent. well done.
welcome I am also mediumistic. I hear spirit telepathically the same as you. It is avery fast vibration and obviously you are not meant to remember it would not be a very happy life if you did not.

Wel i am also a medium and i don't want to turn this thread into a techie thread for mediums but Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
LR, of course I understand that everyone has a right to not answer something, but seeing as asif had the guts to start this thread in the first place, I'm sure he's also capable of telling me himself if he doesn't want to answer. I always try to be polite, and do not believe I am interrogating anyone.
On that note, I'd like to agree with claire and say that asif has indeed had the gumption to stay and answer all the questions put to him, which is nice.

It is very nice of you to pay such lovely comments, thanks. I totally respect one's choice to not believe in my abilties as a spirit medium. I personally don't call it "talking to the dead", I believe we're more dead than they are.
I don't have anything to hide so I'll stand my ground. I know you guys are honest with your views and opinions, just like I am with mine.

No problems but as one of the admin on here i at times have to point out the obvious as not all questioners are as polite as you.
asif86, its about time we had a medium on here that can have a sensible debate with us skeptics, stand their ground, and try and give an answer to some tricky questions without it turning into world war 3! hope you stick around, i really do.
I will do. I plan on sticking around for a long time in answering questions to the best of knowledge; there will be questions I may not be able to answer unfortunately, but I will be 101% honest with what I tell you all.
In my work as a spiritualist medium, I don't believe for one second that mediums, nor I for that matter, are here to convert people, I don't care what anybody says, spiritualism isn't a religion (true spiritualism you come across that is), it is a belief, but an individual and personal one. There are so many fakes out there that force such a bad name on mediums and spiritualism itself, it only makes our work as true mediums that much harder to prove. I absolutely HATE it when people say that we mediums claim to have "powers" LOL, what a load of twoddle, not for one second have I thought I possessed special powers, it is just laughable and it makes people like me look like fools and fakes. I only ever go as far as to say I have been given a gift, and what a gift it is, it can be very fortunate and unfortunate in its own way as we mediums are forever being tested - to my knowledge so far, it's tests that test our courage, integrity and honesty...etc, when a medium is dishonest for their own personal gain - well oh dear, they've buggered their spiritual path up big time, as their gift is taken away from them, as we see it doesn't stop them from working as a medium because they don't want to admit it and get wrapped up in all the money and personal gain - ego, ego, ego!
I've come across a few mediums that have such a big ego it boggles the mind. I cannot see anything in my work to be full of myself about, I'm helping people and making them laugh, and I see and hear loved ones that have passed on to the next world - what an honour it is, I'm very lucky in my life and having this mediumistic gift is just something I'm so proud to have and even more proud and honoured to be able to put it to use in working on platform/rostrum/stage and during private readings. I know my future has me working with disabled people and starting up a charity for raising money to help get the research into rather unknown disabilties and offer much support for those that require it bless them. Disabled people are Angels in my eyes, they teach us so much, looking at life in a whole new perspective.
Spiritualism itself I find a bit confusing due to some churches I've attended have appeared to be giving off that religious vibe, I hate it, whether it's because so many churches are run by older people who are stuck back in the 50s, I hate the hymns, I feel hypocritical whenever I've sung along to them because I don't believe in religion. But there is one church I love, I personally don't like to call them churches, doesn't have any hymns, they play modern music from Abba to Will Young...etc, it's brilliant, much more what spiritualism is about.

asif, make sure you read the rules regarding the promotion of mediumship on this forum. Also as you are claiming to be a medium and putting yourself into a position of authority on here, I ask that you PM me your details,
A bad ass who will beat you like he's using the fists of god.

I will do. I plan on sticking around for a long time in answering questions to the best of knowledge; there will be questions I may not be able to answer unfortunately, but I will be 101% honest with what I tell you all.
First question for you to be honest about. Do you accept that 100% of what you do, what you claim and so on, could purely be a delusion, and you may in fact have absolutely no "gift" at all?
In my work as a spiritualist medium, I don't believe for one second that mediums, nor I for that matter, are here to convert people,
Yet that is EXACTLY what you do. By your very essence, you are supposedly here to "provide evidence of survival" If someone is not converted after you apparently give them that evidence then you have failed as a medium surely.
I don't care what anybody says, spiritualism isn't a religion (true spiritualism you come across that is), it is a belief, but an individual and personal one.
Yet you work in the business where i assume you earn money from it, maybe you work in the churches. Sorry to say that spiritualism is a religion, and the single most currupt one on the planet.
There are so many fakes out there that force such a bad name on mediums and spiritualism itself, it only makes our work as true mediums that much harder to prove.
So hard in fact that not a single medium in history has been able to conclusively prove a single thing.
You talk about the many fakes, yet YOUR industry does nothing at all to expose them, in fact your industry goes out of its way to protect the fakes.
Do i need remind you of the "unspoken code" between mediums
One medium shall not expose another.
And if they do, they soon find out the the psychic maffia is a reality.
I absolutely HATE it when people say that we mediums claim to have "powers" LOL, what a load of twoddle,
Lol So claiming you can speak to the dead, heal people using your spiritual energy, see into the history of an object and so on, is not special powers then?
Come off it, you are sounding foolish now.
not for one second have I thought I possessed special powers, it is just laughable and it makes people like me look like fools and fakes.
You said it
I only ever go as far as to say I have been given a gift, and what a gift it is, it can be very fortunate and unfortunate in its own way as we mediums are forever being tested - to my knowledge so far, it's tests that test our courage, integrity and honesty...etc,
And in 100% of those tests mediums have failed, and been shown to be fakes, frauds or at the best deluded or insane. Your gift only exists in your own mind, as i am sure you have not actually proven it is real, not even to yourself.
when a medium is dishonest for their own personal gain - well oh dear, they've buggered their spiritual path up big time, as their gift is taken away from them, as we see it doesn't stop them from working as a medium because they don't want to admit it and get wrapped up in all the money and personal gain - ego, ego, ego!
As soon as any medium takes a penny for their claims, they are buggering up their spiritual path.
I've come across a few mediums that have such a big ego it boggles the mind.
Why dont you name them then?
I cannot see anything in my work to be full of myself about, I'm helping people and making them laugh, and I see and hear loved ones that have passed on to the next world - what an honour it is,
Not if it is not real. If it is fake, then it is an abhorrent crime to desecrate the memories of the dead, just for a few bucks, and under the false justification you are helping people. What right do you have to choose what is right for people, what qualifies you to decide?
I'm very lucky in my life and having this mediumistic gift is just something I'm so proud to have and even more proud and honoured to be able to put it to use in working on platform/rostrum/stage and during private readings.
So you do work in a church then. You are proud to be part of the most currupt industry on the planet? I would be ashamed personally to be associated with such scum.
I know my future has me working with disabled people and starting up a charity for raising money to help get the research into rather unknown disabilties and offer much support for those that require it bless them. Disabled people are Angels in my eyes, they teach us so much, looking at life in a whole new perspective.
I wonder, are you one of these people who believe we choose our life before we are born? we choose to be disabled as a life lesson? I cant wait for your answer to that.
And you do not need to justify what you do by throwing in the disabled charity act.
A bad ass who will beat you like he's using the fists of god.
I think the disabled aspect of what he says is just him trying to score browny points with the people of badpsychics. Which, if it is the case, takes the p!ss bigtime. The "bless them" bit does sound sorta patronising too. I dunno. Maybe its me picking at his comments. Then again, maybe its not...
I'm waiting to see if either of you get told off for your questions/statements. Personally, I would just like to know this, and it is simple curiosity and the desire to understand another human being:
asif, you say that you have been given the 'gift' of mediumship. But the other day, when bone asked you to tell him what he had in his pocket, you were wrong. Your spirit guide gave you the wrong answer. I think you said something along the lines of 'oh well, I'm wrong, but I stand by my answer'.
Why do you stand by the false information of your spirit guide without question? Why would your spirit guide either a) deliberately give you the wrong answer or b) make a mistake on this occasion? And why do you still stand by it? Why do you not either question your spirit guide, or question your 'gift' as a medium? The first thing I would do if I were in your position would be to say 'Eh? What happened there?' I would take a long hard look at myself and my beliefs. And I am guessing that this is not the first time you have received wrong information, am I right?
