As there are many branches of one type of religion..Christan,Christian scientology,Orthodox,greek orthodox,jewish orthodox...All have a similar thread running through them going back to the main religion they come from. U know I think I confused even myself then  Basically spiritualism some tend to leab towards the christian aspect etc and others simply teachings of spirit...  And scientology goes all the way back to 1953 and Hubbard saying "I'd like to start a religion. That's where the money is" !! So, to my first point, How do Christian mediums feel about going against Gods Word? On that point I cant answer...im not a Christian Meidum :-[sorry.. |

Indeed Jon,but as spiritualism the basic religion only accepts the name god...not the figure percieved within the bible.

Actually the belief of the spirit world etc has many story books from many countries and from varying cultures, much damn older than Christianity!

I think Sceptics are a bunch of sad gits who continually have a pop about mediums because there too damn lazy to get off there arses and find there own bloody answers..And their opinions mean bog all because there opiinons are based on zippoll!

Actually Jon.....as you have rights so do others. And if by what you say is an infringment in any slight way what so ever on anothers rights.....And jon you do this all the darn time. this means actually you dont have that right to do it!

I take on board all sides. And if I choose to still hold to my belief rather than listen to, oh say for instance..yours..that is my choice and not for you or anyone else to decide for me. Out of interest Skepto...why are you on this forum? I can totally understand Mediums,believers etc being on here. Attempting to explain or defend.. Even if this was not Jons forum,I could understand him being on here as he is active in exposing frauds.. Others on here though they are sceptical are also genuinly interested in swapping ideas,discussing a subject they are interested in. But why are you on here? No one puts energy and effort into something for no reason, and by your posts I wouldnt put you into any of the above..The same can be said for many others on here... You believe in one thing,i think driven by a past experience in this realm that blinds you to any other reasoning. In fact you come across as a bitter and vengeful person. I have had a sceptic use my wifes disablity to try and score points against me,that is the level that some morons will descend to. I do no want or desire to get into a slagging match but i feel i had to point this out. Glass houses and windows and all that. A lot more could be achieved on here via understanding of viewpoints of opposing sides and education of both sides if some people could keep the bile down. If that cap fits wear it. |

But thats the thing though LR,so many (not all) but many on here see this as a free for all and the target normally are mediums and believers on here. regardless what is said or used against us. You've had your wifes disability used against you to score points,I've had my sons disability and anything else that could be mustered on a personal level used against me to score points. And yet neither you nor I use what we know about others in any shape or form to score points, infact I have not seen any medium/believer stoop that low. Arrogant and ignorant...that would certainly fall mainly in certain sceptics camps! If the example I used previously to show what happens when a lack of respect for another's opinions is implemented affects another on here..they should ask themselves why does it make them respond..why does it affect them so!!!! |
