It's always been their (Paul & Debbie's) policy to talk to anyone who speaks to them and/or asks them for an autograph. A lot of so-called celebrities could learn from this. |

Chico magician Wayne Houchin is on the mendAbout a month after having his head set afire during the taping of a television show in the Dominican Republic, Wayne Houchin is still a bit blotchy, but likely not scarred. The Chico-raised magician recently starred on a Discovery Channel series "Breaking Magic" that features magicians giving lessons on science. He and his wife had been traveling internationally, including the show in late November in the Dominican Republic. After the taping, one of the show's guest hosts lit Aqua de Florida cologne on fire and poured it on Houchin's head. He was treated at a nearby hospital and returned to Chico for recuperation. News - Ask amateur historian Stuart Burrell why he wants to follow in the footsteps of Harry Houdini and his answer is simple: he was no good at card tricks.For years the married 35-year-old has been researching the history of the great escapologist and his one and only visit to Essex. Records found in the county's archives show Houdini performed in Southend in 1911. Mr Burrell, a council housing officer, now hopes to recreate the escapes performed in the town by Houdini. I remember a card trick penn and teller did at the beach, whereby they hid 52 cards around the area, memorized where they were, did a standard card act with a person, and then depending on what they came up with, they would then "find" the card hidden on the beach, it was very cool and very clever
