how is giving someone a message removing their free will? Because as soon as someone has been conned and believes, that is where the addiction begins. If someone coned me into believing that they could speak to my dead Great Grandfather, i would go to any lengths and pay any money to carry on speaking to him. And i know many others who are the same You may shoot up with heroin the first time purely from free will, but once you are addicted it is very hard to stop. Afterall its all so close,

its appears to me that if a medium is good, theyre a cheat or fake. if crap, then no abilty at all. Yes usually that is the case, of course we are all on the search for the one real medium who is good. I am reminded of my thread that ran over 10 pages, where not a single person could give me the name of a real medium

he gets tested by P.R.I.S.M i cant find the paper, but by some accounts, there is eveidence to support his claims. Also, as i have said on here before, mathematically, to relay info to sitter containing specifics, can be as incredible as 10,000 million to one. Ummm interesting.

Its still fre will. or else they could stand up and leave if they chose. I mention on previous threads about addiction. I asked for stats to prove there is an addiction, and like your thread, nobody could provide me with any sats to PROVE that there is an addiction. You would like to believe there is an addiction to help fuel your sceptism. So please do you have any documented proof of the number of people in the uk or world wide that are addcited. And i know many others who are the same You may shoot up with heroin the first time purely from free will, but once you are addicted it is very hard to stop. Afterall its all so close,

i am crap with quotes, this should be on the above. I asked previously in a thread for someone to show me statisics on this addiction. I was never shown any. If you claim this addiction is prevelant, then where Jon is it writte. Not hearsay, or your opinion, where is the evidence to back up this claim. So as you say here is a simple question requiring a simple answer. Do any statisics exist to show the addiction to mediums.? yes? or no.

Do you really need to waiste 4 points to make different comments, one will do.
No statistics exist as to the true nature of psychic addiction.
There are also no statistics to the true nature of cocaine addiction and heroin addiction.
With many addictions people hide it from their family, and will hardly admit it.
I have brought an actress here who had a serious addiction going into the thousands of dollars.
I have witnessed first hand the addiction, so i dont know what more i can do. The addiction is very real and it exists, just like addictions to heroin and cocaine.
The fact that YOU are a dealer in this addiction whether you like it or not means you must try and fight what i say, afterall you cant admit that you are a cause of such things can you.

There is NO evidence to support Gordons claims If there is show me. The truth is that any tests he had done were done by believers, other mediums and sensitives, they were NOT double blind in any way, and the results, methods, experements and recoprds etc have NEVER been released for analyses or critisism, that should tell you all you need to know. Any scientist can tell you that when you do such tests you submit the papers for peer review and replication. This did NOT happen in Gordon Smiths case. His claims of passing scientific tests are as bogus as he is. Prove me wrong

mediums are not a cause. there are some stats out to there ref addicts. 1) who has heard of a psychic addict robbing? 2) who has heard of a psychic addict commiting crime? 2) Are psychic addicts hiding?
I mention the above as you chose to compare heroin addiction to mediumship. Why? heavens knows. I think its a glib statement to claim there is an out of control addiction. Two totally seperate issues. From different types of people. Going by what your claiming, once a person sees a psychic then they become hooked for life. For some one visit may be enough. I think its very OTT to compare the sitters to addicts, i am sure these people would not like to be catergorised.

What stats? Show them me, you keep making these claims back them up.
Putting yourself into debt with credit cards etc isnt bad enough?
Yes, usually when they try and become psychics themselves
In a way yes. No one likes to admit they are an addict, and i think the last place they would come is on here.
Because it is a fair comparison, and one which shows a lot of similarities
Not at all, it is a fair comment to make, as a dealer you are in part to blame too, do you take responsibility?
No, but one person who is grieving and gets conned by a psychic can become hooked very easily.
How many times have i put newspaper clips on here showing how a psychic conned thousands out of someone. Is that not evidence of an addiction?
I dont like the term sitters, i prefer victims as that is more accurate.

i have mentioned before of people like the tele quiz shows, they are much much worse for debt and addiction. The home office i am sure has stats relating to addictions. I came across one ages ago, where it was i am unsure. But stats are available. You are labelling and making assumptions again Jon. They commit a crime when they become one. Horsesh*t And sitters( i refuse to use the word victim) unless they can provide a crime number from a police station. Happily talk of the psychics they visit. Psychic conning people, again we discussed other professions that do worse. And dont go down that road of being punished. We will just keep on about the same things. I the think the term healer not dealer is more appropraite. As ever, you appear to take the stance of speaking for the nation, sadly Jon. I dont think a lot of them would you like voicing their thoughts, feelings or opinions on their behalf.

The problem is that because the cause of the addiction is psychics themselves we have a major problem, the govenment refuse to do anything about fakes and frauds, hell even Prince Charles believes in it all so what hope do we have
ANY psychic who charges money for a reading is committing a crime. It is illegal to fake mediumship, and since NOT A SINGLE medium in teh world can prove what they do as real, we MUST take the stance that it is not real.
Police REFUSE to arrest psychics, they are scared of the religious backlash. Why do you think the laws have been changed to allow forced marriages in the Asian religions? why do you think these crimes go unpunished? It is all the same
Its a fact that psychics can commit a crime and not be punished Again you show me one single psychic you know who has ever been prosecuted for fake mediumship. Just one
Psychic Dealer, is the correct term, and the second you start charging for readings i will come down on you like a ton of bricks.

I cant actually think of any. You cant think of any because you are part of the problem. the reason the government have no statitistics is because they refuse to do anything about the problem. FACT: psychics are conning people. FACT: the police wont do anything. FACT: anyone can set up as a medium with no qualifications. The only way to stop psychics is to educate their victims, because weknow as FACT that the government wont do anything in fear of a religious backlash.
